Therapeutic Sound

Group Sound Therapy

'I’m a qualified Sound Therapist with the British Association of Sound Therapy (BAST). I work using specialist instruments including Himalayan bowls, crystal bowls, gongs, frame drum and therapeutic percussion to help improve health and wellbeing through sound and vibration.

I specialise in using my instruments in ways that influence brainwave frequencies and enable an altered state of consciousness. This is similar to a very deep state of relaxation or meditation, where many different therapeutic processes can occur.

Research shows there can be many benefits of therapeutic sound, including;

  • pain management

  • reducing fatigue

  • lowering blood pressure

  • reducing physical stress and tension

  • reducing emotional stress, anxiety and depression

  • improving sleep issues

  • increasing mental clarity

  • deep relaxation

My offerings

Sound Baths

During a Sound Bath you will be immersed or ‘bathed’ in the soothing sounds and vibrations of Himalayan bowls, gongs, crystal bowls and a range of therapeutic percussion including chimes and rattles.

The sounds are carefully and intentionally curated to guide you into a deep state of relaxation and invite a gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative process.

Drum Journey

During a drum journey I use a continuous drum rhythm to support you to deeply relax your nervous system and ‘entrain’ your brainwaves towards lower frequencies’.

A drum journey can support you to enter an alerted state of consciousness, similar to a deep state of relaxation or mediation, which has many benefits to your physical and emotional health and wellbeing.

This is a passive process where you’ll be comfortable lying down listening to the sound of the drum.
