What is Conscious Connected Breathwork ?

Conscious Connected Breathwork is a breathing practice that involves bringing conscious awareness to the breath. Usually breathing through an open month, we connect each inhale and exhale, without a pause. We use deep yet gentle diaphragmatic breaths in a continuous wave-like cycle and flow. 

Breathing in this way activates the stress response of our nervous system.  We alter our physiology, enabling us to access deeper layers of our subconscious mind.  Through this process we can release emotions, tension, memories, and experiences held in our bodies. It can be a deeply transformative experience that supports powerful emotional and energetic shifts in both mind and body.

Our breath becomes the bridge between our conscious and unconscious, the physical and the spiritual. It supports us to tap into the unlimited energy and wisdom that resides within us all.

Conscious Connected Breathwork is a dynamic practice and results in physiological changes in the body. If any of the following are true for you please consult your GP or healthcare professional before booking on to a session.

  • Heart conditions or arrhythmia

  • high blood pressure or low blood pressure with history of fainting

  • Delicate pregnancy

  • Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or psychosis

  • COPD or lung conditions

  • Glaucoma or detached retina

  • Severe osteoporosis

  • Unmanaged PTSD

  • Recent major surgery
